xG Technology was invited to be a featured participant at the recent Eastern Military Wireless Conference held in Washington, DC. The conference brought together over 30 senior government and industry experts who are actively involved in identifying requirements and developing wireless capabilities of the future.
Representing xG was Scott Garlington, Vice President of Engineering, who delivered a presentation entitled "Cognitive Radio Solutions for Wireless Networks" at the session Next-Generation Mobile Wireless Networks. Scott's presentation was very well-received, with extensive feedback from the audience about the value and need for adoption by the military of cognitive radio technologies like the xMax system. A number of other speakers noted the potential of cognitive radios, and preached the imperative of acquiring them quickly as the best way to provide dynamic spectrum access and deliver wireless systems with global deployment potential.
