TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW

Advancing communications at the most elemental level, xG Flash Signal is a superior physical layer (PHY) technology for wired and wireless RF communications. xG Flash Signal handles the transmission, reception, modulation, and encoding of data.

xG Flash Signal uses breakthrough single cycle modulation to deliver longer range and lower power RF communications. Single cycle modulation is implemented when individual sinusoidal cycles of RF energy are modulated to represent one or more bits of data.

This proprietary modulation method differs from conventional approaches where tens to hundreds of thousands of RF cycles are required to convey a single bit of information. With each additional cycle representing more RF power, getting the job done with fewer cycles translates into more power efficient RF transmissions.

This advancement in RF power output efficiency is especially important for mobile devices that rely on batteries to operate.

By increasing the range and power efficiency of wireless signals, xG Flash Signal offers a low cost method of deploying competitive broadband services. Because xG Flash Signal delivers greater range, it requires far less network infrastructure to wirelessly cover a given area.

Suitable for use on both unlicensed and licensed spectrum, xG Flash Signal makes the economical deployment of wireless broadband networks possible. xG Technology believes that more affordable broadband networks combined with xG Flash Signal's battery-saving features will result in 4G communications years ahead of schedule.
