xMax Android Application

The xMax Application for Android is a full-featured voice and SMS text messaging application. It allows users to make high quality voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) calls using the xMax cognitive radio network. The application incorporates xG Technology’s patented compression algorithms for SIP (session initiation protocol) and VoIP to ensure high call quality while minimizing over-the-air bandwidth. The application also tags VoIP packets to ensure high quality of service (QoS) for voice traffic, even when the xMax system is heavily loaded with narrowband and broadband data. This enables xMax to carry more reliable VoIP traffic in a smaller channel than competing technologies.
